A content marketer is familiar with the challenge of making content go viral. Now what is the secret behind? Emerson Spartz has it sinking to a science of prediction – literally. Emerson Spartz, the CEO of Spartz, Inc., which is one of the digital media publishers witnessing a huge growth, has 50 million unique visitors per month.
The company has developed some predictive science tools to measure the viral potential of websites with a 90 percent success rate. He recently spoke at the Social Media Masters Summit – and here are some of the tips he shared.
Greater emotion! “The more incentive you give people to share your content, the more likely they are to share it,” said Spartz. Okay, how do you give people incentive? MORE EMOTION! People will share a content that strikes a chord with them. Make it emotional, cute, funny, nostalgic, or intriguing. In simple words, make it WORTH sharing.
Additional tip: You don’t need to constantly be come up with new, emotional content. You can share the existing ones. Sharing content can make you a star as long as the right content for the right audience. You should just ask yourself this question: “Am I creating any value for the audience?”
Post the same tweet 3 times a day. Yes, that’s right. The exact same tweet 3 times a day, approximately 8 hours apart. You will reach 3 different audiences and rarely the same people, including international audiences with the overnight tweet. Hardly anyone goes back through their Twitter feed, so if they don’t see the tweet immediately they don’t see it at all. This allows you to reach a greater number of audience.
Additional tip: There’s no need to stay up all night tweeting. You can Schedule your overnight tweets. In fact, this can be done for ALL of your tweets and save yourself oodles of time!
Use fewer words. Less is always more, right? To create the most absorbable content use fewer words and also fewer sentences. Break up your sentences. Get to the point.
Additional tip: Do not over hash-tag! No one can read the block of blue at the end of the tweet. Read more about Content Marketing Services
